Oxidised Silver and Gold ring
£55.00
I have made this ring from 925 Sterling silver and 9crt gold. First I reticulated the silver.
Reticulation is a method of producing a surface which is ridged and wavy and looks like the moons surface. It is made by a heat process which produces pieces that are one of a kind. Every piece of jewellery is unique. Then I dipped it in Sulphur which makes is go a dark black colour. Then I polished it and took off some of the black to let a little of the silver colour come through. Personally I love oxidised jewellery.
This size is a Q and is hallmarked by the London Assay office and has my own JRJ hallmark.
