Star Sapphire gemstone silver pendant

Just loving this colour on this beautiful Star Sapphire  gemstone. The pictures do not do it justice. This one is sort of a plumish colour. I have set Sapphire in a decorative surround and set on a reticulated textured back. Reticulation means that the silver has been heated up until almost melting point, and small ripples appear on the surface.

This pendant is hung from a Sterling silver chain.

Hallmarked by the London assay office.
