Chrysocolla Sterling silver ring

£55.00

Love this stone. I always buy stones which I'd like to wear. This one a little hard to let go. Beautiful Chrysocolla the colours melt into each other.

Chrysocolla has been used by for thousands of years ,and the  earliest fist known  source was the mines of southern Israel. It was for a time called the King Solomon Stone after the famous ruler of Ancient Israel and legend has it that the earliest Chrysocolla came from the lost King Solomon’s Mines of Africa.

Today it is mined in Peru, Australia, Russia, America  and Israel.

On the band I have imprinted big flowers just to give it an edge. Then the oblong stone I have set at an angle. I like that , not totally square, bit edgy. All made from Sterling silver.

Size between a O and P

Hallmarked with the London Assay office hallmarks and my own mark JRJ.
