Chrysocolla and silver pendant
Love love love Chrysocolla, one for the most beautiful stones ever. Every stone so different.
Chrysocolla has been used by for thousands of years ,and the earliest fist known source was the mines of southern Israel. It was for a time called the King Solomon Stone after the famous ruler of Ancient Israel and legend has it that the earliest Chrysocolla came from the lost King Solomon’s Mines of Africa.
Today it is mined in Peru, Australia, Russia, America and Israel.
I have oxidised the silver to give it an antique look, I think that really suits the pendant. All made from Sterling silver and hung on a Sterling silver chain.
Length 16/18 inches.
