Jasper necklace

Large beautiful jasper beads made into a lovely earthy necklace. These Jasper beads measure 20 mm in width, I have added Sterling silver spacer beads and finished it with a Sterling silver clasp.

Jasper has been used as a gemstone and material for ornaments and tools for all of our known history. Going back to our first cities in the Indus Valley of present day Pakistan and even further with the beads of Neolithic man. The ancestors of native Americans were using Japer for arrowheads and for jewellery as far back as 12,000 years ago.
